Woodcarvers must enter carvings into a single class (Novice OR Intermediate OR Advanced). No mixing of classes is permitted.
Continuing in 2026:
Class projects may be entered in the established categories. There is no Bench Division.

This is a chance to see a world class show in Rochester, NY. Club members have won awards at the Ward World Wildfowl Carving and Caricature Carvers of America Championships as well as other national shows. Our show features birds, fish, caricatures, youth carvings, demonstrations, and more. Of special interest is our soap carving kits for youth (no charge) available while supplies last. We offer something for all ages with carvings of all shapes and sizes. There’s something to please everyone. Raffle for carvings and carving related items – need not be present to win. COMPETITION DIVISIONS & CLASSES
Bird: Novice, intermediate, and advanced.
General: Novice, intermediate, and advanced.
Working Decoy: Single class and category
Youth: Single Class and Category Special: Caricature Carving in the style of Doug Linker
CATEGORIES
Bird Division: Waterfowl, sea, shore, and wading; prey and upland game; songbird; all other birds; decorative smoothie; primitive/antique smoothie; interpretive sculpture; miniature; and miscellaneous.
General Division: Caricatures, human figures, animals, marine life; holiday and mythical, bark, relief, miniature, and miscellaneous.
Classes: Novice, intermediate, and advanced for Bird and General Division. Working Decoy and Youth have a single class and category.
Prize money to 1st in Class in Bird and General Divisions.
Working Decoy, Bench,Youth, and Special Divisions

Club members: No charge – Enter as many carvings as you like. Entries unlimited.
Non-members: Pay $20 surcharge upon entry.
Youth Division: No charge.
