THE CLUB WILL OFFER WINTER CLASSES IN 2014 - Stay tuned...

ROBIN SALSBURY is teaching a Horned Grebe class through the Community Education Program in West Irondequoit. The class runs for 8 weeks on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 PM beginning April 9th. The class is directed towards beginner to intermediate carvers..  Call WICSD Community Education at 336-3014 to register or for more information.

AL JORDAN will teach bird carving to one or more students at his home studio.  Keep tuned for more news on his expanded workshop and teaching space!  Al is one of the finest artists in the world and has won many Best of Shows throughout the US and has been named New York State carver of the year rnany times. lf interested in taking a class please contact Al directly at 227-2235 or by email at ajordanbirds@yahoo.com


BOB GUGE will be coming to town June 2013 to teach a multiple day class.    

Subject:  Open-winged Rose Breasted Grosbeak.   Bob will bring blanks for a couple of different poses and will demo carving and painting of both the male and female. You can make a male, a female,  or both.  Even if you don’t complete both you will leave with enought information to complete another bird at home at your leisure.  We will keep you updated on the status of this annual event.

When:  June 2nd through June 7th, 2013 

Where:  Roberts Wesleyan College  Rochester, NY.

Tell your friends about this seminar as well!  Classes are capped at no more than 15 people so everyone has a chance to see the demonstrations clearly.  Convenient and affordable housing is available on campus for attendees from out of town.
